Building networks with clinicians and patient advocacy and support groups
Phoqus Pharmaceuticals seeks to work collaboratively with both clinicians and patient support groups in the development of new products so that they are most likely to be of real benefit when they reach the market.  The company builds key opinion leader (KOL) boards for products under development and appoints world-renowned clinicians to be principal investigators (PIs) when products enter clinical development.  Phoqus Pharmaceuticals establishes dialogue with patient groups around the world early on in product development and these have been instrumental in progressing projects.  For example, it was through a relationship with one patient support group in the US that Phoqus Pharmaceuticals was introduced to leading endocrinologists at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) who are now engaged in the conduct and funding of Chronocort®'s clinical studies in the US.
